Journey with us as we take in the sights of the beautiful Turnagain Arm; get close-up viewings of native animals at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center; marvel at the breathtaking beauty of Portage Valley, and stop for a late lunch (at your expense) in beautiful Girdwood, surrounded by the northernmost temperate rainforest.
Tour Details
After convenient pick-up at your hotel, we will head south along the spectacular Turnagain Arm. Keep your eyes peeled for beluga whales in the inlet, Dall sheep on the cliffs, and moose in the meadows. We will stop at the scenic Beluga Point overlook for pictures before heading to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to view native Alaska wildlife including muskox, caribou (my favorite!), brown bears, and more.
